Simon Duffy

Serves on our board as non-executive Chairman

Currently pursuing a portfolio career, Simon is a very experienced international director with 67 years of cumulative experience as an executive or non-executive director of public and private companies under UK, European, US and other governance regimes.

He currently serves as non-executive Chairman Bwin.Party Gaming plc (LSE. BPTY - United Kingdom), Cell C (Pty) Limited (South Africa), mBlox Inc. (USA), Symbiotic Technologies Pty Ltd - TrustDefender (Australia), and Cadogan Petroleum plc (UK). He is also a non-executive Director of Oger Telecom Limited (Dubai), Modern Times Group AB (Sweden). Andreas Baumhof

Executive Director, CEO and Founder

Andreas is a thought leader with deep experience in the Encryption, PKI and Phishing space. Andreas was formerly a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Microdasys Inc. (US) - a leading provider of Deep Content Security Solutions. He developed the first ever SSL Proxy and has patents pending in Europe and in the US.

Andreas is an internationally reknown cyber security expert, researcher and public speaker at events in Europe, USA and Australia. 

Andreas holds a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Munich in Germany. He moved permanently to Australia in 2003.

Ted Egan

Executive Director and Founder

Ted brings over 20 years’ experience as an entrepreneur in the ICT and security industry. He was formerly the founding Chairman of the company until March 2010 and CEO until August 2011 where he handed over the reigns to Andreas Baumhof. Ted remains an active member driving sales and strategy while supporting a global team of technology thought leaders focused on breaking new ground while revolutionising the security technology space to protect transactions against the next generation of online threats both in the internet and in the cloud. Ted is a passionate member of the ICT and security industry where he is always looking for new, better ways for business, government and consumers to build 'trust' and 'safety' in our developing online environment.

Ted's previous roles including, ICT consultant, Sales Director of an Australian Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) specialising in highly secure infrastructure support and services, as well as leading the Practice Development for a leading European-based global telecommunications provider in the Asia Pacific Region. In the mid 90’s, Ted helped pioneer the Australian Internet Security space with the creation of one of the initial safe Internet content providers for kids and families, one of the earliest listed dot coms in Australia - Kidz.Net. His career in information technology, online security and telecommunications began when he joined the Australian Defence Force in the mid 80's, serving in the Weapons Electrical Engineering and Communications arm for a decade.

Donald A. Purdy

Non-executive director

Andy Purdy is the Chief Cybersecurity Strategist for the CSC company-wide cyber initiative that provides full lifecycle cyber solutions to industry and government globally, leveraging CSC’s experience in the private and public sectors. Mr Purdy also serves as Co-Director of the International Cyber Center at George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia (www.internationalcybercenter.org).

Mr Purdy was a member of the White House staff team that drafted the U.S. National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace (2003), and then served on the tiger team that helped to form the National Cyber Security Division (NCSD) and the U.S. Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT). He worked at DHS for 3 ½ years, the last two heading the NCSD and US-CERT. In 2006-2007, he served as a Special Government Employee on the Defense Science Board Task Force on Mission Impact of Foreign Influence on DoD Software. More
