TrustDefender was a technology first beta tested in December 2005 with the company incorporated in January 2006 after the founders realised growing online fraud meant the traditional security model was broken – and decided to fix it.

Privately owned with headquarters in Sydney, Australia, TrustDefender’s presence spans the globe including North America, UK & Europe and the Asia Pacific. TrustDefender first consumer deployments began in 2006.
