Security is everyone’s responsibility

TrustDefender was formed to revolutionise the safety of the internet as a transactional platform.

Recognising that the growing global issue of online fraud was not going away, we also recognised consumers were not able to keep abreast of the growing sophistication of malicious software and the potential threat of an attack. We also noted existing security solutions including blacklists, heuristics, firewalls and browser based security solutions were not effective in today’s developing environment. The bad guys were becoming invisible. Further all these security solutions did not talk to each other and the age old process of educating consumers via websites (that no one ever read) was also failing to stop online threats or reach their intended audience due to a lack of perceived relevance.

Therefore...
We developed a security solution that was new, flexible and focused on the emerging mobile computing space. TrustDefender enables the computer user to be empowered about the security health information of their computer before they begin a transaction. Most importantly, a solution that would protect the user’s private and confidential information from being stolen.
