Fraudulent transactions

Attention: open in a new window. Print

Fraudulent transactions are a serious risk to organisations as they demonstrate that end-user computing devices have been compromised.

It means that malware-infected devices are actively being used to target the organisation to perform fraudulent transactions for criminal purposes.

Because fraudulent transactions are a serious concern, TrustDefender gives organisations unprecedented visibility into the security health status of all computers, smartphones, tablets and other Internet-connected devices that are connecting to that organisation’s network and online services, while delivering visibility into types of malware threats directing the attacks.

If there is a potential problem identified with a transaction, TrustDefender’s “instant decisioning” process applies and lets the organisation make decisions in real-time based on this previously untapped information.

Armed with this information, an organisation can, for example, determine whether a user has connected with an insecure computer, activate TrustDefender on the end-user’s computer to enable the “Safe & Secure Mode” before log-in occurs to secure a transaction even on a PC with malware infection, ask more security questions in real-time and apply further out-of-band authentication.

An organisation can also delay a transaction for a set period (for example, 24 hours), seek additional offline authentication or authorisation on suspicious transactions, apply other real-time risk policies or even proactively end the session, while fully integrating with the risk engines an organisation may already be applying.

These actions, and others that TrustDefender’s suite of integrated security and fraud risk management solutions performs, delivers true protection from the threat of fraudulent transactions.

Stop being at risk and let TrustDefender start protecting your organisation, today!
