Detect compromised or suspicious accounts
If an organisation has end-users whose accounts and/or identities have been stolen, the risk of compromised or suspicious “mule” accounts exists which can steal information, account details, money from bank balances, or can be used as holding and distribution accounts for the financial proceeds of crime.
Although organisations often have internal processes to discover when user accounts are exhibiting suspicious behaviour, the earlier compromised or suspicious accounts are discovered, the sooner security breaches and threats can be both prevented and eliminated.
TrustDefender uses its clientless TrustDefender Zero technology to detect a range of security conditions on end-user PCs, even before they attempt to log-in and connect with the organisation.
One of the many capabilities TrustDefender Zero offers is the ability to detect suspicious accounts where multiple devices are logging into the same account, whether that account is a “mule” account or suspicious in other ways.
As is well known, prevention is always better than cure. TrustDefender Zero helps to decisively detect compromised or suspicious accounts, putting the reins of security and trust back in the hands of organisations – and their end-users.
